Life is CRAZY!
The recent months have seen me performing at POP Montreal, at daycares for cute little tots, at a youth centre in Hochelaga, at a beautiful funeral in Hudson (I was asked to play this song) and at an amazing yoga studio. I did a performance in drag for Halloween and made an appearance in Annie Becker’s upcoming new music video..
which brings me to my next bit of news.

The latest string of shows has culminated with the Fringe Fest this week.. thank you to all who came and sang along and beamed back at me from the audience.

The week in Toronto for Canadian Music Week was a doozy. I’m excited to be back on the home front, with new collaborations and projects up the wazoo.
Some fun news: the music video for Excess of Love won Best of the Fest at the FOKUS Film Festival!

The past few weeks included a very rewarding evening with Kimberly & the Dreamtime, a performance of Japanese folk songs and a concert in support of an inspiring organization called First Descents.

Metro Love
After a week of shows on the home front, I’m on my way to Toronto next week for Canadian Music Week. I’m really psyched! I have a showcase on Saturday, March 12th @ 11 pm @ The Central in the Annex. Until then I’ll be checking out other shows and workshops etc.. I hear Janet Jackson’s playing

Ahoy!
I just posted 4 new acoustic tracks on my Facebook fan page. Two of them feature the vocal stylings of Brigitte and the other two feature trumpet player Heather Anderson. Thank you to William Bridges and Lauran Jurrius who recorded and mixed the tunes. Bonne dégustation!

‘I Wanna See You’ was featured in a short film by Bianca Ker about a very special coat. I also make a cameo appearance as ‘The Boy’.
Canadian Music Week is coming up next month! For those of you in Toronto, I’d love to see you at my showcase! Saturday, March 12th at 11 pm at The Central.
Also, I got a nice surprise in the mail last week: a music bursary from the McAuslan Brewery!
The breakdance video for Excess of Love, the Remix, is just about ready. I should have something to show you guys verrrrry soon.

Wrap-Up
It’s been an exciting year!! Lots of ripples and waves.
I’m working on a couple of projects for early 2011, but alas, they are all top secret for the time being!
In the meantime, I’m off to New York for the next couple of weeks as of this Sunday. I’ll be playing one final set in Montreal on Saturday as a guest of Corinna Rose @ Centre St-Ambroise. Do come say hello and goodbye!

In the meantime, I’m Not the Only One made it to #1 on CHOQ.fm’s chart of anglo artists!
I just got the news that I’ll be performing at Canadian Music Fest in March 2011. Details to come in early 2011!
